I seem to have put all my skill points into google search attributes, because it took me less than a quarter of an hour to track down the source. I was reminded of this excellent video of a DEC VT05 in operation when the topic of computer hardware design came up in discussion with a snake-friend on twitter. (basically, computers these days are boring and the design is too boring and expected without having fun with design — especially when compared to old teleterminals and DEC PDPs, among other things).
The accompanying track to that video was part of the ORiON keygens, and those tend to pull demoscene music to use in their cracks, but the track’s “Shining Like a Star Pt. #2” by Dualtrax, and he actually has a whole zip of the ORiON keygen music up on his site.
The tracker file “dt_slas2.xm” loops a lot better than the above rendering to lossy formats.
i need to get into japanese multi–instrumentalists waaaay bad
How do people even think to plan videos like this? Really cool.
The song is also super pleasant, worth watching and experiencing.
Fantastic, but it makes my fingers twitch at the thought of how much work it was to die-cut all those shapes by hand, as with an Xacto.
